Cup Finals 2010
Double Delight for Allestree
Saturday 20th March saw two Allestree teams in their respective cup finals. Dave Macbeth’s Under 12’s and
Chris Brandon’s Under 15’s. With the Under 12’s playing at the earlier time it was up to them to get the ball rolling on Allestree’s weekend. Toby McCabe put Allestree in front, but Aston got back on level terms quickly after, then a goal for Jack Tyson sealed a cup win for Allestree much to their delight. Next it was the turn of the Under 15’s against Barrow Town to put the icing on the cake. A goal in the first half for Oliver Fewtrell was equalised just before half time. Jack Cleveley and George Castledine made sure of a 3-1 win in extra-time for Allestree, rounding of the day nicely.
Soccer School 2010
Allestree Juniors will be holding there 12th Soccer School for children in school years 1 and 2 to form teams for the forthcoming season in the Development Section of the Derby Mini Soccer League starting on Saturday 24th April at Lawn School at 10.30 am running until Saturday 24 July.

Allestree Juniors at Wembley
On Thursday 6 August 14 U10 players got the opportunity to go to Wembley Stadium. After playing in a tournament in a nearby park they went down Wembley Way and into the great stadium where they played on the pitch and walked up the steps to receive their medals. A great day had by all!
RESPECT
The club is now working on initiatives to support the FA's 'Respect' campaign, there will be more information posted here soon.
